We asked Codex with GPT-5.5 to find the next AI supercycle stocks. It picked $ONDS, $AVAV, and $SERV.

After ranking 30+ names across chips, AI infrastructure, rare earths, power, space, drones, and robotics, the model found the best 12-month upside in autonomous defense and robotics.

📶BUY-$ONDS (Ondas Inc) and hold till May 7th, 2026.
📶BUY-$AVAV (AeroVironment, Inc) and hold till May 7th, 2026.
📶BUY-$SERV (Serve Robotics Inc) and hold till May 7th, 2026.

The AI investment cycle has so far appeared to progress through a series of infrastructure layers, beginning with semiconductors and extending into memory, photonics, cloud capacity, power, and cooling. As many of the most obvious beneficiaries have already experienced significant market re-ratings, the relevant question becomes whether there are still adjacent areas where the market may be underestimating 12-month return potential. To examine this, we used Codex with GPT-5.5 to evaluate a fixed universe of stocks across the AI value chain and rank them based on expected return over a one-year horizon. The resulting selection favored $ONDS, $AVAV, and $SERV. Rather than pointing back to the more crowded AI infrastructure trade, the analysis suggested that autonomous defense, drones, and robotics may represent a less fully priced continuation of the broader AI cycle.

Methodology:

We used Codex, OpenAI’s coding agent, in /Goal mode with GPT-5.5 set to xhigh reasoning. /Goal mode is a new feature released on May 2, 2026, that lets the agent handle long-running tasks autonomously without constantly asking the user for input.

Step 1: Here is the first Codex prompt we used in /Goal mode:
